Camilla Allen is passionate about her own yoga practice and its inherent benefits of increased strength, flexibility and balance – both on and off the yoga mat. She believes yoga is an ongoing process with many obstacles along the way. These obstacles are never insurmountable, they can be overcome by acknowledging and accepting them, by patiently and consistently working on them every day.
Camilla embraces many different styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Slow Flow and Yin. The practice she comes back to again and again and considers her great love is Ashtanga. There are elements of each style in her classes. Camilla likes to challenge her students, guiding them with clear instructions and an emphasis on the breath. Her knowledge of alignment principles helps to ensure student safety and affords the maximum benefit from the practice. Camilla’s intent is to provide an open space to quiet the mind and strengthen the body in order to cultivate a transformative experience of self-awareness.
